This Privacy Policy applies to WaterChange’s application, website and support communications. The exact features available can vary by platform and app version.
2. Aquarium data
WaterChange is designed to let you create aquarium records such as tank details, water tests, water changes, livestock, equipment, maintenance, notes and photos. The app’s Settings and store disclosure for your installed version describe where this data is stored and whether platform backup or sync applies.
WaterChange does not send aquarium records to external AI services unless a future feature clearly explains that processing and asks for any consent required by law.
3. Website and technical information
When you visit the website, the hosting provider may process basic technical information needed to deliver and secure it, such as IP address, device or browser type, requested pages, timestamps and diagnostic logs. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
4. Support communications
If you contact support, we process the details you provide—including your email address, message and any screenshots or diagnostic information—to respond and resolve your request.
5. Photos and permissions
If you choose to add photos or enable notifications, WaterChange requests the relevant device permission. You can change permissions in your device settings. Notification delivery is also controlled by the operating system.

We may use platform, hosting and communication providers only as reasonably necessary to operate WaterChange. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.

We retain support and operational information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here or to meet legal obligations. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, but reasonable safeguards are used for information under our control.

You can manage app permissions through device settings and delete app data using the controls available in your version or platform. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict certain personal information.

WaterChange is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their location, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
